Mario Lucia (born August 25, 1993) is an American ice hockey player who has played for the U.S. National Development Team in the USHL. He was raised in Plymouth, Minnesota. He played for Wayzata High School[1] in the 2009-2010 season as well as the 2010-2011 season. He is currently ranked 34 in the NHL draft prospects and is the top scholastic prospect in the nation. He was drafted by the Minnesota Wild with the 60th pick of the 2011 NHL Draft.[2]
He is the son of Minnesota Golden Gophers men's ice hockey coach Don Lucia.[3]
